Abstract
We hebben de effecten onderzocht van een subversieve humoristische protestoproep vergeleken met een informatieve protestoproep op collectieve actie intenties, gepastheid en affectieve reacties. We hebben gekozen voor een humoristische protestoproep, omdat humor overtuigende effecten lijkt te hebben op basis van de literatuur over humoristische advertenties (Weinberger & Gulas, 2019). We verwachtten dat betrokkenheid met het maatschappelijke onderwerp (Walter et al., 2018) en dreiging veroorzaakt door het maatschappelijke onderwerp (Sheperd et al., 2018) de effecten van een humoristische protest oproep modereren.’
