Through thematic analysis of the data collected via a focus group, key themes emerge regarding the perceived strengths and weaknesses of the curriculum, its alignment with vocational goals, and challenges encountered in its implementation. In the results, diverse opinions about the curriculum are observed, indicating areas where improvements are needed or a more rigorous implementation is required to ensure the acquisition of practical skills and facilitate the professional integration of students with deafblindness. In conclusion, this research provides valuable insights into special education in Romania and the professional preparation of students with deafblindness. It sheds light on the perspectives of educators who specialize in teaching and educating the young students, highlighting both the advantages and disadvantages of the Romanian educational system.
