Abstract
Work meaningfulness is increasingly recognised as a critical component of employee well-being in organizational research. Challenge stressors, frequently linked to performance and productivity, may also influence work meaningfulness. This study examines the relationship between challenge stressors and work meaningfulness and explores whether a learning intervention moderates this relationship. Using a convenience snowball sampling method, 82 participants were assigned randomly to the control and intervention groups. They completed a baseline questionnaire followed by daily surveys for 10 consecutive days. Participants within the experimentation groups received daily prompts that suggested coping strategies for workplace stressors. Linear regression analysis revealed a significant positive association between challenge stressors and work meaningfulness. However, the moderation effect of the learning intervention was not significant, suggesting no additional impact on meaningfulness scores. These findings highlight the potential role of challenge stressors in enhancing work meaningfulness while acknowledging limitations that may have influenced the null moderation effect. Future research can build on this study to refine workplace learning interventions. Keywords: Work Meaningfulness, Challenge stressors, Learning intervention, Moderation, Stressors.
