Abstract
The Feldenkrais Method (FM) is a movement practice designed to enhance body awareness and bodily function. While existing research has primarily focused on clinical populations, there is limited evidence regarding its potential benefits for healthy individuals. Therefore, this systematic literature review examined the effects of the FM on body awareness and well-being in the general population. Due to the inclusion of only nine studies (N = 488) with heterogeneous outcome measures, no generalizable conclusions can be drawn. Nonetheless, the methodological challenges identified offer valuable insights and directions for future research.
