Abstract
In deze thesis werd de relatie tussen de work event characteristics (event novelty, -disruptiveness en -criticality) en job satisfaction onder entrepreneurs onderzocht. Hierbij werden mogelijke mediatie en moderatie-processen onderzocht. De thesis is gebaseerd op onder andere de Affective Events Theory (Weiss & Cropanzano, 1996) en de Event System Theory (Morgeson et al., 2015). Simpele lineaire regressie en hierarchische lineaire regressie zijn gebruikt voor de statistische procedure. The resultaten lieten zien dat negatieve emotie als mediator opereerde tussen negative work events en job satisfaction. Geen significant moderatie-effect van de age of the business werd gevonden.
